Sandra Estornell will oversee the opening of the brand’s first property in Hawaii, a new hotel opening in 2023. Sandra joins the Rosewood family after more than 20 years at The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, where she received many awards and accolades during her service, including General Manager of the Year for Ritz-Carlton worldwide.
With more than 30 years of experience within the hospitality industry, Marlene Poynder was previously General Manager at The Conrad New York Downtown, and Waldorf Astoria in Chicago, before her new role as Managing Director at The Carlyle, A Rosewood Hotel. Marlene is the first female Managing Director in the history of The Carlyle.
The new development marks Rosewood’s second standalone residential project in the region, representing the brand’s growing footprint in the Florida market.
