Aiming to ignite a passion for environmental conservation and cultural heritage in the fragile regions of the Indian Ocean, Cora Cora Maldives’ General Manager Justin Swart and Director of Human Resources Muiz Mohamed have succeeded in a remarkable Zen paddleboard challenge. Together they have accomplished a stunning 186 km paddleboard circumnavigation of 21 islands in Raa Atoll, covering all inhabited islands and resorts. The #ReconnectinRAA campaign aims to expand awareness and commitment to conservation, and features beach clean-ups, marine conservation talks, symposiums, and cultural performances – all of which empower individuals to make a significant impact not just in the Maldives but across the world.
