Desert Palm Dubai announces a new era as it becomes part of Meliã Desert Palm Dubai, from 1st July 2018, a decade since opening as Dubai’s first luxury polo resort integrating world-class polo facilities with a 39-key boutique hotel.
Meliã Hotels International will bring their unique blend of service and hospitality, garnered over the last 60 years, and infuse the resort with a touch of Spanish flair to elevate Desert Palm’s status as one of Dubai’s most hidden gems. As Meliā Desert Palm Dubai, guests can expect the same spectacular surroundings with a revitalised product offering as it is welcomed within the Meliā family.
Meliã Desert Palm has also recently developed and launched its new Samāna Spa, with a core focus on organic wellness and clean beauty. The introduction of the Tisserand Aromatherapy Bar gave Dubai its only aromatherapy bar offering within a spa alongside the very first VitaJuwel Water Counter. VOYA, a beauty brand specialising in seaweed treatments harvested from the Irish coast and Hungarian organic facial specialists, Eminence, complete the beauty line-up, giving spa-goers the opportunity to have a completely holistic approach to their spa experience.
General Manager, James Reeves, says: “It’s an exciting time for the resort, with a reinvigoration for the team, the introduction of new elements including Melia’s world-renowned customer service culture programme and access to Meliā Rewards for our loyal guests. Since making the announcement in April, we have been focused on the transition, and we are all excited to start the second half of the year in our new guise.”
Camelia Binbrek, Director of Sales and Marketing says: “We are and will continue to be Dubai’s hidden gem, a reputation we are proud of. As Meliá Desert Palm Dubai, we are able to bring a sanctuary and escape from city life and a new standard of Arabia Avant-Garde touched with the Meliā philosophy of soul matters.”
