  1. Why Las Vegas?

Las Vegas continues to be one of the most exciting and luxurious cities in the world and we have a real opportunity to introduce the Waldorf Astoria brand in this market, where so many of the city’s visitors seek the highly covetable, unforgettable experiences that are ingrained in the Waldorf Astoria way of life. Following the tremendous success of Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills, it only made sense to seek another property in the western U.S. where guests can experience all that Waldorf Astoria has to offer.

  1. How many other properties does Waldorf Astoria have in the pipeline?

Our current pipeline consists of nearly 20 iconic properties ranging from city-centres, such as the recently announced Waldorf Astoria London Admiralty Arch, to resort destinations including Waldorf Astoria Maldives.

  1. Is Waldorf Astoria focusing on growth in the Americas in particular?

Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts has experienced unprecedented growth over the last ten years, consistently adding one or more properties to the portfolio each year. While the Americas are important for our brand, we continue to look for iconic locales around the world as we focus on global expansion.
