Stonebridge, a Denver-based, privately owned, nationally recognized hotel management company, announced today that Paul Eckert has been appointed Chief Operating Officer. In this role, Eckert will oversee all hotel operations across Stonebridge’s portfolio, focusing on driving performance, enhancing property-level execution, and delivering measurable results for ownership groups while reinforcing the company’s people-first culture.
Eckert brings more than three decades of hospitality leadership experience, most recently serving as Chief Operating Officer at Trailborn Hotels & Resorts. Prior to that, he held multiple executive leadership roles at Davidson Hospitality Group, including Executive Vice President of Operations & Business Intelligence, Executive Vice President of Operations, and Senior Vice President, where he oversaw large, multi-brand portfolios and drove consistent improvements in operational performance, margin expansion, and overall asset value.
Earlier in his career, Eckert served as Vice President of Operations – Lifestyle, Resort & Independent Hotels at Interstate Hotels & Resorts and as a Dual Hotel General Manager with White Lodging Services. He also spent more than a decade with Omni Hotels & Resorts, holding roles including Managing Director of Omni Scottsdale Resort & Spa at Montelucia, Vice President of Special Projects, Brand Standards & Spa, and General Manager of Omni Amelia Island Plantation, where he led complex resort operations, large-scale repositionings, and capital-driven value creation initiatives across high-performing destination assets.
“Paul is a disciplined operator who understands that performance starts at the property level,” said Rob Smith, CEO, Stonebridge. “Our priority is to maximize the value of the owner’s investment, and that requires strong execution, accountability, and consistency across the portfolio. Paul brings exactly that.”
“Stonebridge is built around performance and accountability, but what stands out is the strength and tenure of the team driving those results,” said Paul Eckert, COO, Stonebridge. “There’s a balanced approach here of combining disciplined operations with experienced leadership at the property level to consistently deliver strong outcomes for ownership. The opportunity is to further sharpen execution, expand margins, and ensure every property is performing at a high level.”
Eckert holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business & Recreation from Western Colorado University.
