Hotel Jackson, an award winning, family-owned luxury boutique hotel in the heart of Jackson, Wyoming is thrilled to announce the appointment of acclaimed Executive Chef Malyna Si who will lead the hotel’s culinary concepts including locally beloved FIGS and a new signature restaurant opening in Summer 2025. Chef Si, renowned in recent years as the only woman to lead a Michelin-starred restaurant in Florida, will bring her creative vision to the vibrant Jackson Hole dining scene with the elegant new Basque-inspired signature restaurant.
A feast for the eyes as much as the palate, a spectacular open kitchen will feature a wood fire grill for open-fire cooking, and diners will be treated to tableside carts, unique menu flights and other decadent touches in the expansive 150-seat space with a menu that will reflect the bounty of the valley’s regional ingredients, as well as its storied past.
“I am excited to join the wonderful team at Hotel Jackson,” said Chef Si. “Jackson Hole is such a special and inspiring destination, and I love creating bespoke experiences and lasting memories through my cooking. The new restaurant will be a celebration of the senses, a place where all are welcome to truly indulge.”
Born in Philadelphia to a Vietnamese, Chinese and Laotian mother and Cambodian father, Si started cooking after college, and worked her way up from prep cook to her most recent role as Restaurant Chef of the Michelin Star-rated Capa Steakhouse at Four Seasons Resort Orlando. Si will oversee all culinary operations at the hotel including the property’s beloved Lebanese restaurant FIGS, the rooftop bar and lounge and the new signature restaurant.
The Retreat at Hotel Jackson is an impressive expansion designed by FFKR with interiors by TrueEx Cullins, as well as Parts and Labor Design. Situated next door to the original 55-room hotel which opened in 2015 and overlooking the famed Jackson Town Square, The Retreat at Hotel Jackson will comprise the all-new construction including nine new luxury suites and a 2,000 square foot rooftop bar and lounge with sweeping views of Snow King Mountain, a 7,000 square foot state-of-the-art spa and wellness center, infinity pool, salon, and new signature restaurant.
“This has been a years-long labor of love, and we are thrilled to finally unveil these incredible new offerings to our guests,” said Sadek Darwiche, General Manager of Hotel Jackson. “Our goal has always been to provide an intimate, unparalleled guest experience, and these enhancements, including a new restaurant helmed by the incredibly gifted Chef Si, are set to transform the landscape of Jackson Hole.”
