Foxhills Club & Resort in Surrey has appointed Kelly Elton as group director of sales, to drive the country club and hotel’s meetings and events business.

With a wealth of experience in growing corporate business within the hospitality industry, Elton joins Foxhills as it looks to maximise its wellbeing proposition across the 400-acre estate.

Starting her career at Woodlands Park Hotel in Cobham, going on to spend more than a decade with Hand Picked Hotels, Elton’s experience will help continue to build the already successful conference and team-building business across the estate, including taking  responsibility for overseeing corporate business at Foxhills sister property, Farleigh, located in Warlingham.

Foxhills recently announced its new Padel & Pickleball Rate (PPR), in addition to a range of more than 200 immersive weekly activities for businesses to enjoy, highlighting the focus on developing mindful mornings and active afternoons for meetings, conferences and business connections. Located just 20 minutes away from Heathrow, Elton will be focusing on growing Foxhills’ international reputation, working closely with the country’s leading film studios given Foxhills’ close proximity, in addition to continuing and enhancing a flourishing relationship within the automotive industry.

There has been investment of more than £35 million over the past 40 years into the facilities at the resort and its reputation speaks for itself.

“I’m looking forward to help drive real change over the coming months and years, as we create more bespoke approaches to business meetings and away days, utilising our wellbeing activities to enhance experiences with us, and challenging mindsets around how teams work together.”

Tej Walia, managing director at Foxhills, said: “It is great to have Kelly on board and to start to see her vision of how we can bring our meeting and events offering here at Foxhills to a new level. As a continuously growing business, we are always looking to invest in our team as well as our facilities. Kelly’s experience speaks for itself, and I am sure she will be a great asset to the team to assist in building experiential based offerings that focuses on our client’s bespoke needs.”
