Bobby Hotels, proudly announced today the appointment of Tony Phillips as the General Manager of Bobby Nashville. With over 25 years of extensive experience in hotel management, Phillips brings an extraordinary approach and a progressive vision rooted in servant leadership to guide the 144-key downtown hotel into the future.
Phillips joins Bobby Nashville following a significant tenure at Loews Hotels, where he quickly ascended to top leadership positions. His journey led him to Nashville in 2008, initially taking on the role of Director of Rooms at Loews Vanderbilt Hotel. Subsequently, he earned promotions to Director of Operations in 2012 and General Manager in 2013. During his time in Nashville, Phillips was recognized by both the Greater Nashville Hospitality Association and the Tennessee Hospitality Association as Outstanding General Manager of the Year. In addition, Phillips has served in various leadership roles across the U.S., including Loews Coronado Bay Resort, Loews Ventana Canyon Resort, Loews Santa Monica Hotel and more, ultimately returning to Nashville in 2021.
Phillips’ integration into the Bobby Nashville team is effective immediately. His leadership style emphasizes a passion for people and a belief in the importance of employees as the most crucial asset. His proven track record as a results-focused leader, coupled with a natural ability for talent selection and team building, positions him well to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
