Highgate, investment and development company, has appointed Marla Kelly as the Complex Director of Sales and Marketing of Romer Waikīkī at The Ambassador and the upcoming Romer House, scheduled to open in June. In her new role, Kelly will be responsible for spearheading all sales initiatives aimed at optimizing revenue and overall profitability as well as supervising marketing and public relations strategies for both properties.
An experienced and passionate hospitality professional with over 15 years in the industry, Kelly brings experience from the Hawaii Convention Center, where she served as the Director of Sales & Marketing. Prior, she served as the Regional Director of Group Sales for Kyo-ya Hotels & Resorts, under the management of Starwood Hotels & Resorts. She has also held sales and marketing roles with the Moana Surfrider and Hyatt Regency Waikīkī.
