The newly renovated 441-room JW Marriott Hotel Bangkok has appointed Dongwoon Kim (DK) as Director of Sales & Marketing.
The Korean national joins the hotel from his previous role as Director of Sales & Marketing at the Renaissance Riverside Hotel Saigon in Vietnam.
DK has also previously worked as Director of Sales at the Grand Hyatt Guangzhou/China and was Associate Director at the same hotel.
He has held sales positions at the Hyatt Regency Jing Jin City Resort & Spa in Tianjin, China; the Hyatt Regency Xi’an, China; and was a management trainee at the Sheraton Waikiki and the Royal Hawaiian by Starwood in Honolulu, Hawaii.
DK graduated from the University of Hawaii at Manoa in Honolulu with a Bachelor of Science in Travel Industry Management.
He is married to Diane and has a five-year-old daughter, Ella.
