Phil Donnelly appointed Chief People Officer at Travelport

Travelport Worldwide Limited has welcomed Phil Donnelly as its new Chief People Officer. Mr Donnelly will be based in Travelport’s global headquarters in Langley, Berkshire, UK.

As Chief People Officer, Phil performs a fundamental role in the execution of Travelport’s strategy, driven by the belief that the right talent is what makes a company succeed. Most recently, Phil was Chief Talent Officer at Borden Ladner Gervais, Canada’s largest full-service law firm. Prior to that, he was Chief People Officer at White and Case, a US-headquartered global law firm. Phil was previously the Managing Director of Human Resources for the private equity investment firm Dubai International Capital and European Head of Human Resources at Willis Towers Watson, the leading global advisory, broking, and solutions company. He spent five years as Global People Leader for the Ernst and Young Corporate Finance business.

Phil’s early career included six years as a Flight Lieutenant in Britain’s Royal Air Force. He has a BA in Economics from Manchester University and an MA in Human Resource Management from Bristol Business School.
