Faena Hotel Miami Beach is delighted to share news of the appointment of Michael Romei as Chef Concierge for the hotel. In his new role, Romei will oversee all concierge services for Faena Hotel Miami Beach, proving the highest standard of customer service for the hotel’s guests.
Romei joins Faena Hotel Miami Beach with over twenty-five years of concierge experience, most recently serving as the Chef Concierge of The Waldorf Astoria and Waldorf Towers in New York City. He has also served as the Chef Concierge for Boca Raton Resort & Club, A Waldorf Astoria Resort. Romei is the former General Secretary of the prestigious international organization Les Clefs D’Or and served on their International Executive Committee for 10 years.
Romei has a BA from Manhattanville College and a MA in International Studies from New York University. He is Founding President of the Southern Florida Concierge Association as well as an Honorary Member of Les Clefs d’Or UICH International.
