Chris Audia appointed Area Director of Marketing for Benchmark

BENCHMARK®, a global hospitality company, has appointed Chris Audia area director of marketing. Ted Davis, Benchmark’s chief sales and marketing officer, made the announcement.

“It is a pleasure to announce Chris’ promotion within our company,” said Mr. Davis. “He has done a superb job with his previous responsibilities, which has resulted in success for his properties and the winning of important industry awards. We look forward to his continued success in this expanded role.”

Chris Audia’s new position with Benchmark represents a promotion for him within the leading independent hospitality management company. In this role, he will oversee the marketing communications for the company’s properties in Racine, Wisconsin (Wingspread Retreat & Executive Conference Center), Boothbay Harbor, Maine (Spruce Point Inn), and Roanoke, West Virginia (Stonewall Resort). His previous position was as area marketing manager for Benchmark. Mr. Audia began with the company as marketing manager for Stonewall Resort.

Mr. Audia is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of West Virginia University where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. He is the recipient of numerous awards of career excellence, including the Gold and Bronze Adrian Awards from the Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association International, the Best Marketing Effort Award from Benchmark Global Hospitality, and the Best Marketing and Advertising Campaign from the West Virginia Tourism Office. He resides in Bridgeport, West Virginia, with his family.
