Walter has served as executive chef at award-winning resorts in Las Vegas and San Diego for over 10 years. He will oversee all dining operations for Montage Laguna Beach.

Walter will be responsible for ensuring continued excellence at casual all-day American cuisine dining venue, The Loft; California beach fare-inspired Mosaic Bar and Grille; the Lobby Lounge with its new menu; and in-room dining, banquets, weddings and special events. Additionally, he will provide support to Studio, the resort’s signature Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star restaurant.
Most recently, Walter served as executive chef at AAA Five Diamond Bellagio, where he oversaw operations for 30 food and beverage outlets. Prior to that, he held the opening executive chef position at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas. He also held executive chef positions at Hard Rock Hotel San Diego and Caesars Palace Las Vegas Resort and Casino.
