Daniela KrienbŸhl appointed Director of Operations at the BŸrgenstock Hotels & Resort Lake Lucerne

Daniela F. KrienbŸhl has been appointed the Director of Operations for the Waldhotel Health & Medical Excellence, a revolutionary hotel dedicated to wellness and wellbeing, at the BŸrgenstock Hotels & Resort Lake Lucerne.Ê

Opened in December 2017, the five-star Waldhotel is part of Switzerland’s newest luxury resort, which also encompasses the five-star superior BŸrgenstock Hotel & Alpine Spa, the four-star superior Palace Hotel, a 1903 Belle ƒpoque jewel, the three-star, 12-room inn, Taverne 1879, 12 restaurants, lounges and bars, 67 private residence suites, a 107,000 square-foot spa in the BŸrgenstock Hotel, three Davis Cup tennis courts, a nine-hole Alpine golf course and 43 miles of hiking and biking trails.

Daniela spent more than seven years at the Grand Resort Bad Ragaz.Ê She was Director of the resort’s Medical Health Center and Clinic before leaving to join the Waldhotel.

She will direct operations for this state-of-the-art holistic centre which includes a 37,000-square foot medical centre and a 17,000-square foot spa.Ê The Waldhotel has its own multi-disciplinary team of doctors, therapists and nursing specialists as well as collaboration with two local hospitals, the Kantonspital Luzern and Kantonspital Nidwalden.Ê Diagnostic, therapeutic and rehabilitative services will be complemented by a range of preventative programs.Ê Medical check-ups, medical therapies, physical therapy, dentistry, aesthetic and cosmetic procedures, weight management, rehabilitation, post-operative convalescence and wellness programs will be featured.

Prior to working at Bad Ragaz, Daniela was a biomedical analyst at the Kantonspital Grisons and at Labor Dr Risch in Schaan.

After attending school for Biomedical Analysts at the Kantonspital in St. Gallen, Daniela received a Bachelor of Science in Tourism & Hospitality from the University of Applied Sciences in Chur.Ê She received her Master’s in Advanced Studies in Health Service Management from the University of Applied Sciences in St. Gallen.Ê When Daniela is not overseeing the Waldhotel, she enjoys horseback riding, biking and skiing.Ê A Swiss citizen, she speaks English and German.
