Australia’s largest hotel operator, Accor, has been appointed official accommodation provider for the Pacific Airshow Gold Coast (PAGC).
PAGC takes off over Surfers Paradise from 18 to 20 August, bringing the most-attended airshow in the United States to the Gold Coast for the first time. The aerobatics and entertainment spectacle is a family-friendly festival with tickets on sale from $45.
With a vibrant network of 27 hotels, resorts and apartments on the Gold Coast, including brands such as Sofitel, Peppers, The Sebel, Mantra, Novotel, Mercure and BreakFree, Accor has an ideal accommodation option for all airshow visitors, including families, groups and corporate guests.
Kevin Elliott, CEO of Code Four and Pacific Airshow Director, said he was delighted to have Accor on board as PAGC’s official accommodation partner.
“Their renowned hotels, resorts and apartments perfectly complement the high-quality experience we aim to provide for our guests during the Pacific Airshow Gold Coast,” said Elliott.
“Accor is the ideal accommodation partner for our event and we hope this is a partnership that we can develop over years to come.”
Accor Pacific CEO, Sarah Derry, said the partnership demonstrated Accor’s commitment to the Gold Coast as a global events destination.
“Accor is excited to welcome domestic and international airshow visitors and celebrate the debut of this thrilling mega-event. Our team of hospitality professionals is dedicated to creating the most memorable experience to keep thousands of guests returning each year,” she said.
“For a VIP experience, we will be turning Hyde Paradiso at Peppers Soul Surfers Paradise over to airshow guests who will be able to rub shoulders with performers, crew and VIPs enjoying a taste of Australian hospitality every day throughout the event.”
The Paradise Lounge X Hyde Paradiso tickets, priced from $400 include a general admission pass to watch the action on the beach, a hosted experience of the airshow with views over the show centre, and include morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and a beverage package.
