Key highlights:
- U.S. weekly occupancy dropped back below 50%.
- Three of the six classes reached 50% occupancy: Economy (54.6%), Midscale (52.3%) and Upper Midscale (51.9%).
- Among the submarkets, Iowa City/Waterloo, IA, saw the highest weekly occupancy (85.9%).
- In July, U.S. hotels saw positive GOPPAR for the first time since February.
