The Independent Lodging Congress has announced that registration is officially open for the organization’s first INDIE Collab:Brooklyn.
Taking place on September 14th at the new Ace Hotel Brooklyn, INDIE Collab: Brooklyn is a one-day get-together for hospitality thought leaders to collaborate, converge ideas and share delicious food and cocktails. This series is meant to provide a space for creative ideation through thought-provoking panels and an intimate dinner for all guests.
Confirmed speakers for this year’s event include Brad Wilson, President of Ace Hotel Group; Josh Wyatt, CEO of Neuehouse; Amber Asher, President of Standard International; Ben Pundole, Founder of A Hotel Life; Nick Slavin, Co-Founder and President of Curacity; Erik Warner, Co-Founder Eagle Point Hotel Partners and Sightline Hospitality; Paul Monahan, COO of Matchbook Distilling Co; Cara Federici, Founder Madison Melle Agency, with additional speakers to be found on ILC’s website.
Andrew Benioff, Founder and Chairman of the Independent Lodging Congress, said, “We created the Collab event series to provide a more intimate space for our INDIE crowd to connect with one another. There’s nothing like gathering around a table of peers over great food and a few drinks. We want attendees to feel a sense of comradery and closeness after the panel discussions, which in a more crowded event setting wouldn’t be possible.”
Tickets for INDIE Collab: Brooklyn, which begins at 1 p.m. on September 14th, are $495 and include access to all of the day’s events and panels, as well as the cocktail hour and intimate sit-down dinner.
The 2021 INDIE Collab: Brooklyn will offer attendees the opportunity to listen, learn and engage with industry powerhouses as they share stories of success and failure as well as their predictions for the future of the independent hospitality business. INDIE Collab: Brooklyn follows the success of previous Independent Lodging Congress events such as INDIE Confab: Philadelphia 2021; New Orleans Confab 2020, INDIE Congress 2019, INDIE Cultivate 2019 and Miami Confab 2019, to name a few. With the current happenings surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic, the Independent Lodging Congress is taking proper precautions to protect all presenters and guests who attend INDIE Collab: Brooklyn by limiting the number of attendees and adhering to all the city and states guidelines and protocols. ILC is also taking steps to allow for proper social distancing within the event space.
