Bidroom.com has won the World Tourism Forum Lucerne Start-up Innovation Camp Award, and the award was presented to Bidroom co-founders, Michael Ros and Casper Knieriem at the World Tourism Forum in Lucerne.
We look at this award as a recognition of our fight to bring fairness to the hospitality industry,” said Michael Ros, Bidrooms CEO “Our platform increases the profits of the hoteliers while cutting down on the accommodation rates. We’ve made some great strides improving Bidroom.com in the past few months, and we are honoured to accept this prestigious award.”
Bidroom has been deemed the winner by the jury presided over by Swiss business angel and investor Roland Zeller. Bidroom.com was one of 170 promising start-ups that entered the competition. On April 16 the company was announced one of the 16 finalists, and on May 3 it was given the chance to present its project to all the World Tourism Forum participants.
To go along with the prestige, Bidroom.com received a check for 20,000 CHF and free participation in a two-year coaching programme.
