Rebecca was fortunate enough to work in 10 different restaurants throughout her apprenticeship at The Star. These restaurants included Hatted restaurants, such as Momofuku Seiobo, as well as very high profile restaurants. Rebecca would rotate every couple of months and change kitchens. This experience early on was a crucial part of her career.

Throughout her apprenticeship, she participated in many culinary competitions, further developing her cooking skills.
