IHG and China’s Greenland USA opened the Hotel Indigo in downtown Los Angeles, the first of the brand in that city. The 350-room, 18-story Hotel Indigo Los Angeles Downtown opened in April in the Metropolis development. ItÕs the first hotel developed by Greenland USA, a subsidiary of Shanghai-based Greenland Group.

In March 2018, Germany’s first NYX hotel opens in Munich. With ten houses operating in the Bavarian capital, Leonardo Hotels offers the right starting point for night owls, individualists, and street art fans with its lifestyle brand.

Gilgil Town is slowly giving Naivasha a run for its money in the hospitality industry with classy high profile hotels springing up. The only blot, however, is the persistent traffic jam heading to and from the weighbridge with motorists at times spending hours along the stretch.

The Atlanta-based developer will build a 15-story Hyatt House hotel a block away from the Vanderbilt University. The 201-key hotel will be completed by early 2019.
