Ascott expands footprint of The Crest Collection to Asia
The Ascott Limited (Ascott), a lodging business unit wholly owned by CapitaLand Investment, is set to debut The Crest Collection — a global portfolio of charming bespoke hotels and serviced residences that integrates heritage stories with curated hospitality experiences, in Singapore, China and Vietnam. The Crest Collection will also continue to grow its current portfolio in France with the addition of its fifth property in Saint-Germain-des-Prés, Paris. To date, Ascott has secured over 1,000 units across eight properties under The Crest Collection. Ascott has more properties under the brand in the pipeline, in key travel destinations such as Jakarta, Bangkok, Tokyo, Osaka and London.
Baglioni Hotels & Resorts launches latest Hotel in Milan
Baglioni Hotels & Resorts has officially opened its latest Milanese hotel, Casa Baglioni, in the design district of Brera – an area known as the ‘artists’ district’ for its timeless charm and considered the most beautiful in Milan. Hyatt completes dream hotel group acquisition
Hyatt Hotels Corporation today announced the completion of the Dream Hotel Group lifestyle hotel brand and management platform acquisition, bringing a vibrant portfolio of lifestyle hotel brands – including Dream Hotels, The Chatwal and Unscripted Hotels – into the Hyatt portfolio. The asset-light acquisition includes 12 lifestyle hotels (nine managed and three licensed), with another 24 signed long-term management agreements for hotels expected to open in the future.

Accor to open Wonil Hotel, the first handwritten collection hotel in Australia
Accor, the largest hotel operator in Australia, will operate Wonil Hotel Perth, a new Handwritten Collection hotel set to open at the Forrest Hall Precinct in early February 2023.
