Michael George, Chief Executive Officer of Crescent Hotels & Resorts, has announced that the hotel and resort management company has hired Andra Sorensen as Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Crescent, based in Fairfax, Virginia is a nationally recognized operator of premier hotels and resorts throughout the United States and Canada. Ms Sorensen will be responsible for developing sales strategies, managing marketing initiatives and relationships, and revenue analysis for Crescent-managed properties.
M&R names General Manager for Comfort Inn Midtown West
M&R Hotel Management has announced the appointment of Fran Ramos as General Manager of the 88-room Comfort Inn Midtown West at 548 West 48th Street, where she has been Assistant General Manager since 2015. Ms Ramos, a nine-year hospitality industry veteran who has managed hotels around New York state, will oversee the hotel’s operations, sales, marketing, security, maintenance, housekeeping and accounting.
The Capitol Hotel Tokyu announces appointment of new General Manager
The Capitol Hotel Tokyu has appointed Takahiro Sueyoshi as its General Manager. Mr Sueyoshi joined Tokyu Corporation in 1985, and after his involvement with culture school and sports club projects, completed the summer school of a marketing course at the Cornell University School of Hotel Administration. In 1997, he was involved with the opening of the Pan Pacific Hotel Yokohama, he was appointed Vice President of Mauna Lani Resort on the island of Hawai’i.
