Giorgio Cassella
Giorgio is Senior Marketing Assistant for hospitality programmes at the University of Derby Online Learning (UDOL). Giorgio has worked across multiple areas within the student and higher education sector including academic support, student accommodation and marketing. Joining UDOL in 2015, Giorgio has led on the marketing of UDOLs hospitality degree courses, working closely with the Institute of Hospitality in the UK, eHotelier and Hotelier Maldives and contributes his marketing expertise and knowledge of the global student and HE landscape. Giorgio's professional interests lie passionately within entrepreneurship, start-ups and digital marketing, also working as a private marketing consultant and mentor for SMEs and student start-ups. His past research has focussed on iterative developments in marketing to drive growth and the evolution of digital, mobile and in-app advertising to meet the needs of both companies and consumers. Outside of work Giorgio has a keen interest in bouldering and free climbing, cooking international cuisine and collecting niche board games.
