The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Waikiki Beach, O‘ahu’s premier residential luxury hotel, announced a new Mālama Hawai‘i offer that will direct proceeds from qualifying reservations to The Pantry by Feeding Hawai‘i Together, a local nonprofit organization dedicated to addressing food insecurity across O‘ahu.

Through the offer, a portion of proceeds from eligible reservations booked between July 1 and Dec. 25, 2026, will benefit The Pantry, helping provide food assistance and resources to families throughout the island.

The offer reflects the property’s broader commitment to mālama or caring for the community. In addition to its fundraising efforts, The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Waikiki Beach has pledged to volunteer with The Pantry every other Wednesday throughout 2026. To date, the property’s Ladies and Gentlemen, alongside guests and owners, have completed 17 of 25 scheduled volunteer days, contributing more than 350 volunteer hours and helping The Pantry serve more than 8,500 families across O‘ahu.

“At The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Waikiki Beach, mālama goes beyond philosophy as it is a responsibility that inspires how we care for our guests, our neighbors and the island we are privileged to call home,” said Mr. Mike Kass, General Manager. “The Pantry is making a meaningful difference in the lives of families throughout O‘ahu, and through this year’s Mālama Hawai‘i offer, we are honored to extend that impact together with our guests, owners and Ladies and Gentlemen.”

Since its introduction, Mālama Hawai‘i has become one of the property’s most successful and meaningful guest experiences. From 2022 through 2025, the program generated more than $50,000 for the Genki Ala Wai Project, a long-term effort focused on restoring O‘ahu’s largest waterway. In 2026, the initiative shifts its focus to supporting The Pantry and its mission to create greater food security throughout Hawai‘i.

“The generosity of The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Waikiki Beach extends far beyond financial support,” said Ms. Jennine Sullivan, Executive Director of The Pantry. “Their ongoing commitment of time, resources and advocacy has helped us expand our reach and serve thousands of local families. Partnerships like this create lasting impact and strengthen our collective efforts to ensure that no one in our community goes without access to nutritious food.”

Mālama Hawai‘i is a statewide initiative developed in partnership with the Hawai‘i Tourism Authority (HTA) and the Hawai‘i Visitors & Convention Bureau (HVCB), encouraging visitors to engage more deeply with the Hawaiian Islands through cultural connection, environmental stewardship and community-based giving.
