Luke James has been appointed as the new general manager of Address Beach Resort in Dubai. Originally from Adelaide, Australia, he holds a Bachelor’s degree from the Swiss Hotel Association’s International College of Hotel Management and a Diplome Culinaire d’Hôtellerie from Le Cordon Bleu.
With over two decades of experience in hospitality leadership, James brings a wealth of expertise to his new role. He has been involved in the pre-opening of several prestigious properties, including Hyde Dubai, Zabeel House The Greens, and Jumeirah Muscat Bay, where he achieved notable success. His previous role as area general manager for Crystalbrook Collection in Queensland saw him manage a portfolio of luxury hotels.
Throughout his career, James has demonstrated strong entrepreneurial skills, particularly in establishing three successful restaurants in Adelaide. He has also held key leadership positions at renowned properties such as the One&Only Hayman Island, Hyatt Regency Adelaide, and Zabeel House By Jumeirah, The Greens.
In addition to his professional accomplishments, James was highly commended in the General Manager of the Year category at the Hotelier Middle East Awards, while his team won Hotel Team of the Year. As he takes on his new role at Address Beach Resort, James looks forward to leading the team and building on the resort’s reputation for luxury and world-class hospitality.
