With a proven track record of more than thirty years in the hospitality industry, Wilson brings a wealth of experience and leadership to MacArthur Place.
Dedicated to delivering unparalleled service, Wilson will oversee operations and team culture, branding and strategy, and community engagement, all while maintaining the premier excellence for which MacArthur Place is known.
Wilson’s career journey is marked by significant achievements and impactful leadership roles at award-winning hotels, holding positions such as Director of Operations at Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn & Spa, and Food & Beverage Director at both Sanctuary Camelback Mountain and Rancho Valencia. Wilson’s career boasts remarkable highlights, including the successful launch of the Nirvana Food & Wine Festival, recognized by Forbes as one of the top three culinary events nationwide, alongside prestigious gatherings such as Pebble Beach Food & Wine and Aspen Food & Wine. What’s more, his tenure as a leader at Rancho Valencia saw the resort achieve the coveted title of #1 Hotel in California and #1 Relais & Châteaux Hotel in the World by U.S. News & World Report, a testament to his strategic vision and commitment to excellence.
Residing within walking distance of MacArthur Place, Wilson is looking forward to sharing his love and knowledge of hospitality with the entire team while remaining firmly planted in the Sonoma community.
