Hyatt to expand inclusive collection’s brand footprint in the Caribbean
Hyatt Hotels Corporation today announced a multi-property collaboration with Be Live Hotels that will include the growth of the Sunscape Resorts & Spas brand in the Caribbean. The deal is expected to expand Hyatt’s Inclusive Collection, which was introduced following Hyatt’s acquisition of Apple Leisure Group in 2020, by nearly 2,000 rooms.

Hyatt completes dream hotel group acquisition
Hyatt Hotels Corporation today announced the completion of the Dream Hotel Group lifestyle hotel brand and management platform acquisition, bringing a vibrant portfolio of lifestyle hotel brands – including Dream Hotels, The Chatwal and Unscripted Hotels – into the Hyatt portfolio. The asset-light acquisition includes 12 lifestyle hotels (nine managed and three licensed), with another 24 signed long-term management agreements for hotels expected to open in the future.

Hyatt announces plans for Hyatt Regency Lahore DHA
Hyatt Hotels Corporation today announced that a Hyatt affiliate has entered into a franchise agreement with FP Global (Private) Limited for Hyatt Regency Lahore DHA, which will mark the first Hyatt-branded hotel in Pakistan and a significant step forward in Hyatt’s plans to expand its brand portfolio in Southwest Asia. Situated within Defence Housing Authority Phase 6 (DHA-6), the property will be operated by Valor Hospitality Partners and is expected to open its doors in 2024.
The Unbound Collection by Hyatt brand to expand in Japan with plans for Hotel Toranomon Hills
Hyatt Hotels Corporation announced today that a Hyatt affiliate has entered in a management agreement with a Mori Building affiliate for Hotel Toranomon Hills, which will be located at the heart of Tokyo’s emerging business center as part of the new Toranomon Hills Station Tower. Slated to open in late 2023, the 205-luxury hotel will debut The Unbound Collection by Hyatt brand in Tokyo and will mark the second hotel within The Unbound Collection by Hyatt brand in Japan, further demonstrating Hyatt’s intentional brand growth in the Asia Pacific region.

Hyatt Regency Al Kout Mall in Kuwait has a new general manager. Walid El Awardly has joined the hotel from Hyatt Regency Riyadh Olaya in Saudi Arabia. The Egyptian has worked on and off for Hyatt for a combined 17-plus years, having travelled across the globe with the group.
